wbtl.app is a growing collection of small, sharp browser tools built on one principle: your data stays on your machine. Three promises on the front page — 100% local, no tracking, free forever — and every tool keeps all three. No accounts, no analytics, no ads. Nothing you paste, upload or type ever leaves your browser.
The collection is at forty-three tools and counting, each on its own subdomain: a Markdown editor, JSON formatter, diff checker and cron helper for developers; a PDF editor, OCR and background remover for documents and images; timers, a tuner, a BPM tap and an ambient-noise generator for everything around the work. Open one, use it, close it — that is the whole product.
And all of it is open source. The main page and every single tool live as their own repositories in the wbtl-app organization on GitHub — so “nothing leaves your browser” is not a promise you have to take on faith. Anyone can read exactly what runs on their machine, file an issue, or fork a tool.
It is also a working demonstration of how I build today: the entire product is developed end to end by spec-driven agentic AI development. I write the specs and review the outcomes; agents write the code. The same discipline I apply to regulated enterprise systems, distilled into a side project.
